Up for sale is an Ishapore 2a1 rifle, chambered in 7.62/.308.

Basically, as the indians adopted the FAL, they wanted an interim rifle that used the same cartridge, but could use existing tooling to equip rear echelon troops while they gradually introduced more FAL's to the frontline troops. The ishapore 2a/2a1 were enfields built from the ground up in 7.62 NATO, with a few changes and upgrades (like an aluminum FAL buttplate).

Use a 12 round magazine, one original included. I also included a 10 round repro mag.

Rifle is in good shape, typical milsurp scuffs and dings indicative of a military rifle.
